James Walsh of Low Energy Design has been certified by National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) as competent to thermally model junction details and calculate their linear thermal transmittance. The calculation can be used to optimise building fabric design and contribute to favourable Y factor calculations that can be entered in DEAP for Building Energy Rating Calculations.
