Phoenix Park Racecourse Development. 2005 – 2009
Castleknock, Dublin 15. 2,300 dwellings with two commercial local centres, crèche, school, hotel, medical centre
I was appointed as Senior Architect for this Dublin architecture project in 2005 to develop designs for phases yet to be built and drive the proposals for a new neighbourhood centre to the west of the site. The western local centre titled ‘Park Village’ included 412 dwellings, 3,000 sq.m retail, 700sq.m offices, Medical Centre, crèche, 168 bed hotel, Pedestrianised Civic Space and underground car park with 18 acre public park granted planning by An Bord Pleanala in January 2010. The project is featured in ‘The New Housing 2’ publication 2009.



Tradeston, Glasgow, Scotland. 2005-2006
Mixed use development overlooking Clyde River in Glasgow
Senior Architect consisting of 340 apartments with ground floor commercial uses to the River frontage and road to the west. The project was granted planning in 2006.



Tyrconnell Place, Inchicore, Dublin 8. 2004-2006
29 dwellings, and two retail units
Associate managing architectural team on the tender and construction phases of this project for a builder/developer of approx. €5M. The project makes a valuable insertion to the village and opens the possibility of pedestrian links along the Camac River.



North King Street, Smithfield, Dublin 7. 2004-2006
44 Co-operative rented dwellings
Associate on the design from feasibility to planning permission of this Dublin architecture project for NABCo Housing Association. The site was particularly complex with two frontages and narrow width to North King Street. A public daytime pedestrianized link was proposed.



Collins Square, Benburb Street, Dublin 7. 1999-2001
Residential development of 80 apartments and two retail units
Associate on the tender and construction phases of this Dublin architecture project for builder/developer. The project makes a valuable insertion to Benburb Street and was featured in the ‘New Housing Publication’, 2002.
