I acted as an Architect from the Tender Stage (in collaboration with Rapport Architects) and Construction Stage to the Completion of this Passive House project. Design to planning was carried out by Rapport Architects.

I was involved in PHPP, design detailing, liaison with the Quantity Surveyor, Engineer, Passive House Certifier, Contractor and inspections. I also acted as an Assigned Certifier for the purposes of BCAR.

The project maximises solar gain with its southerly orientation and achieves a high-quality finish both internally and externally. A bespoke staircase was installed in steel
    and timber.
The project used ICF construction with a KORE passive slab, highly insulated roof and triple-glazed windows and doors with an excellent standard of airtightness and
thermal bridge performance and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery using a Passive House Certified system.
The project achieved an A1 BER primarily from fabric efficiency via excellent thermal bridge performance without any Solar PV.
